For one of my courses this semester I am keeping a blog about communications in the 21st century. In my most recent blog I talk about millenials and messaging. I would appreciate it if you would take a look at it, comment, and add your thoughts. Thanks! http://taylorthornley.blogspot.com

Reminds me of Britt's post from the first NetSquared conference: "Feel the fear and blog it anyway."

And other ideas from a while back. Sad to think that this is still an issue after four years of evangelizing.

The whole thing really baffles me as well. E-mail is not close to dead....if for no other reason than the kids need an e-mail address to sign up for a MySpace or a Facebook account ;-)

See you at HighEdWebDev!

Glad you enjoyed the article.

Giving up control is the hardest thing, I think. We have to give up the "how would I do it if I were doing it" part and acknowledge that it's being done and probably better than you would have because, for whatever reason, you couldn't get around it.

And pointing proudly. Well it helps growing a community up by encouraging people to engage in meaningful ways.

The hard part, of course, is setting things up so this can happen.
